I get yelled at in the morning by an unpleasant breakfast buffet guardian in mandarin. Apparently, half of our group has received vouchers for the "Western" dining room and we have to go to a separate eating area for breakfast. No arguments...we must leave right away...go eat over there! The other dining hall has more "western" items like cereal and croissants. I'm excited by the croissants until I realized I've been fooled again by that trickster Red Bean!
Then it's a 4hr. bus ride to our next stop, Lijiang (麗江). Mom slips in the washroom at a pitstop, but luckily near the outside and not into the "hole". We arrive in time for lunch and then wander through the Black Dragon Pool Park (黑龍潭) and the old city of Lijiang.
