This morning we have double dim-sum. We meet Mr. Chan and his family first for round one. Restaurants in Hong Kong have been renovating to keep up with the fanciful wedding banquets wanted by residents. Mr. Chan points out the cut-out in the floor. This is for the grand entrance of the bride who will rise from below on a mechanical platform. Lots of wedding decorations are up because Nov. 11, 2011(11/11/11) is an auspicious day and many people have gotten married.

Next, we go to meet dad's old friend Uncle Bao and his family. The haven't seen each other in over 40 years.

With no evening plans, I'm free to meet my friend Lennie to go shopping! Oh, sweet freedom! Riding on the MTR, it's the first time I've been on my own for almost a month. I meet up with Lennie in Time Square and we find some interesting items at the I.T. outlet. There's a large polo shirt onesie and a mystery shirt where we can't tell which might be an arm hole or a head hole.
