The first day of the tour begins and we set out in our mini bus to La Fortuna. On the way, we're given the option to do a white water rafting trip on the Rio Toro. "Beginners?" they said, "No problem!" - - they're only class 3 - 4 rapids.

We get suited up with life jackets, helmets and oars and set off to learn the basics. (P.S. I can barely swim).
